Social Media Coordinator
Are you passionate about using your marketing skills to highlight Black-owned and small businesses? If you are an energized self starter who loves working with people, has great communication skills, wonderful attention to detail, and share our love of finding creating ways to celebrate Black-owned beverage brands and their founders, we want to talk to you!

The right candidate will develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms using Sipping Black Only's voice. You will assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content, and have the following experience and abilities:
  • Understanding of social media platforms and comfort repurposing content across all of those platforms
  • Defining and measuring KPIs specifically for social media
  • Designing and copy-writing to develop creative, attractive, and informative campaigns to include graphics and video
  • Monitoring all social media content and managing the community
  • Identifying and establishing relationships with industry professionals and influencers on social media

The ideal social media coordinator is: articulate with excellent spelling and grammar skills; organized, detail-oriented, motivated and proactive; able to operate effectively as an individual and as part of the team; a creative thinker with a growth mindset; possesses the ability to listen, adapt and incorporate feedback; and has knowledge of emerging media trends.

Must be 21 or older.

Job Type: Part-time
Duration: Six months (with a mutual option to extend)
Pay: Fixed stipend
Location: This position can be fully remote or based in Charlotte, NC.
